Long battery life. Easy to power on a pedal board! Low latency! Just great!
I love the build quality, I love the size and I love the silly branding. It works great and it's been my cinpeessor if choice for Years now!
For a mini pedal on a budget ... it is pretty spectacular. Are there better octave pedals out there? Yes? But not for the financial cost or the space on your pedal board's real-estate. I love it! Place it on the board as early as tou can in the chain and enjoy the decent, intuitive, octave (up and down) generation. I have third in my signal chain right after my tuner and compressor!
This Is the old reliable crybaby in a compact size. What's not to love? The three voices from internal dipswitches are cool!
Second fiddle only to the MXR Phase 90 right? This thing is amazing. Great sound. Super easy and intuitive controls. Great size from a legendary company!
The other gain stages in my rig are a revolving door but the Timmy is constant. I'll never not have one. I use it as the light/first gain stage for dynamic response and to push higher gain stages down the chain. Whatever "transparent" means ... the Timmy definitely is what we mean when we say that silly word. It definitely lives up the the hype!
It is crazy that so much gain functionality can be fit into one little box. The different clipping options in the drive section are amazing. the boost section is perfect. This is likely going to be on my board forever!
We all know the Volume x series and its awesome ... this is just the littlest brother! It just works for me! Great sweep fits on a board with limited space for a big treadle peddle.
Everyone loves the CE-2 (and with good reason) the CH-1 Supper chorus has more tone-shaping options, sounds just as good, and is easier to find in many instances.
It is a classic for a reason! It's on countless pro boards! It is the quintessential analogue delay. Warm tone - easy controls - great build quality! This is the delay you've been looking for. (I usually leave the "MOD" button on the warm up the repeats even more).
It's a Boss digital delay so.you.already know what it sounds like (which is great) it's the old school hold "Short Loop: thing that makes this an it's previous iteration so amazing. I'll never not have one on my board!
I know tap controllers aren't sexy but if you need one you should get a quality one and this one is great! go MXR!
I know I KNOW! There aren't any vanilla reverb sounds on this thing ... that's the point. The Darkstar is for making otherworldy insane reverberating soundscapes and it does it like no other!
This little looper provides infinite overdubs. intuitive controls. Half Speed and reverse looping. And it is so affordable if you can find one!
This has totally delivered on the promise of giving me those classic Fender tones of my dreams! After registering the pedal with the app you get more speaker modeling options. I have not come close to fully exploring this pedal and I'm already in love with the tones!
Walrus Audio Canvas Mono Direct Injection Box is straight-up the best DI/LI out there. don't forget about the stereo one too. If you use amp modeling and run straight to the desk, do yourself a favor and get a good DI box like this!
Look it's not a high end isolated power supply, but ... it has an awesome variety of voltages and mA current outputs and it served me well for years with no noise issues untill I was ready to spring foe the CS12. I'm not the least bit disappointed with it!
Plain and simple these are 5 isolated power ports with 125 mA max current draw each and that's just all there is to it. If your board has exceeded you power supply, (and you don't have a super high end modular power system) get one of these and have a quick diy modular system!
My Alt. Gear 33
For a solid state amp this thing has no business sounding this good! I absolutely love it. The gain Chanel leaves a little to be desired but the clean Channel is everything you want from much more expensive Fender Combo amps. The speaker is amazing and a real spring tank. This thing is an unknown jewel!
Okay. is it so gainy it's almost unusable? YES, but is it a legendary piece of music and technology culture yes. It is hilariously over gained but every kid who learned to play guitar in the 90s had one and loves it to this very day!
It's an interesting half Overdrive half Slap back delay pedal whose purpose is to warm up and "analogize" the digital pedals we use that can sometimes be to sharp or bright. I really like it (full disclosure ... it has not found its way onto my board).
Bryan Wampler is a genius! This Klon clone style Overdrive is out of this world. Lots of adjustments without being confusing! It's amazing!
This pedal is ubiquitous to distortion guitar tone. Its sound is classic and its color is classic. It has been on countless tracks that we all love. A benchmark in the industry!
Great sounds at a very affordable price
Awesome, transparent, natural sounding overdrive, really love it.
It is so affordable and soooo dope. It is a great tube screamer clone for like.almost no money! It's a little goofy looking but even that is part of its charm!
The FAB series from danelectro is the best budget series of guitar pedals ever. And the overdrive is a great example.if why. I recommend all of the FAB pedals for beginners checking out guitar pedals.
This is a classic for a reason. it doesn't get the fan-boy level love that a lot of other boss pedals do ... But I'll bet it's on way more albums than most. Just ask Steve Vai. On the other side please bear in mind this is a distortion, not an OverDrive.
The pedal has lots of options and is rugged. Small floor space and nice lighting! The reverbs are very reactive, meaning that the harder you pick, the more the Reverb tails ring out.
Great sounding, easy to use reverb pedal. Sounds range from close, room like reverbs to expansive cave like reverb! Difficult to dial in a poor sound with the help of the responsive EQ and decay controls. The pre-delay switch is great if you are using a particularly 'wet' reverb sound as it gives space for the initial attack of your playing to cut through.
Digital reverb. 3 modes options: room, spring and shimmer. Mix, tone and decay control. True bypass. Smart stop bar design.
Very affordable analog delays. Warm tones, natural repeats. This is your first stop if your trying to check out analog delay for a manageable price.
To have a digital delay pedal with on board tap Tempo at this price point is hard to believe. I don't know how he donner does it. I.have been very happy with this on my alt acoustic board.
Behringer is the most well known and respected budget line of pedals (and with good reason). This pedal boss like digital delay tones and functionalities. It's plastic build quality is how they are so affordable (but even then I've never broken one).
There's nothing sexy about a tuner, but they are guilt like a tank easy to use, but and play through outputs. They are really good and I'm willing to bet it was alot of people's first tuner pedal.
this is a great eq for the money! I'm impressed. It can also function as a boost pedal to push amps, overdrives, or just clean increase to your core tone volume!
As always Behringer delivers boss like functionality and bargain basement prices. It's the plastic build qualitynthay let's them be so affordable. With that said even now I've never broken one.
My Church Gear 3
We have 2 of these at my church and they could blow the doors off if we let them. They have great sound and air actually not that difficult to move with the rear wheels! We love them and I'll be devastated if they ever blow!
This series of Soundcraft mixing desks ate the most intuitive digital mixing boards I've ever used. If you've only ever used an analog board, this is your on ramp to digital. It has powerful digital effects, eq, snap shots, channel mapping, and much much more!
The Roland RD-2000 sounds so good, feels so good, and is so intuitive to use. I live blending in strings and pads to the foundational awesome electric piano or natural piano tines. If you can, I'd get one!
