About this setup
This gear photo by awiechcz features 7 pieces of gear, including Boss BD-2 Blues Driver, Boss RC-3 Loop Station, and Boss DD-8 Digital Delay. The rig is mostly standard pieces. Artists with this kind of gear are most often found in the Rock, Pop, and Electronic scenes.
What made you switch out the Nux delay for the Boss?
The NUX is absolutely fine, I only changed it because I wanted to have a few extra sounds inside the little peddleboard. In case of DD-8, I really like +RV and SHIM modes and that made me buy it. I can already tell, that BOSS in the analog setting sounds almost identical to the NUX.
