I love this thing
Although I don't use this often its always a fun journey when I do. It has a powerful and clean sound and it really gets the creative juices flowing when using it. You can really drastically reshape everything about your sound with this. Or you can just enhance it. Its really an amazing plugin

Immediate, Inspiring and Fun to Use
I've yet to find a more thoughtfully put together distortion plugin. The available palette of distortions is broad, and can make any sound work better in the mix, or give it some real attitude. Convolution settings on their own are useful for changing the space a sound inhabits, and when all the components of the plugin are thoughtfully used in series it can produce entirely new, exciting sounds with the most basic source material.

Yes.
Honestly, I could never figure out why people would pay so much for a distortion plugin. Until I tried it. Wow. I'm blown away by how much this little plugin has to offer. It has the best sounding WaveShaper distortion I've ever heard, the workflow is quick and easy to use, and the outcome is beautiful, I highly recommend trying it. Get the 10 day trial and play with it. DON'T PIRATE OR I WILL HUNT YOU DOWN AND EAT YOU.

Most versatile distortion plugin out there
Trash 2 is perhaps the greatest production tool I've used. Most people see "distortion" and immediately put Trash into a box reserved for guitars and random drum or vocal effects. It isn't that simple, though, and this plugin really proves how versatile harmonic saturation can be. It's definitely possible to use too much and ruin a sound, but when used effectively, it can transform and give new excitement to otherwise bland or flat sounds.

Enough content for lifetime
Steep learning curve, but someone can also stick to some of the settings.
Overall great variety, settings, sound.

Great distortion... and well everything else it does
This product is great. At first I was a little shy with this but lately I seem to want to use this on everything. I love the distortion and convolution effects it offers. It's so diverse and easy to manipulate for most types of sound.

When asked about his favorite gear, Skrillex talks about the iZotope Trash plugin:
"...these days I really like iZotope's Trash, actually. It's pretty cool. I've been using it on random things. It's like, here's a sound and I don't really know what to do with it, and I throw it on and start fucking with it, and it becomes something else. It's one of those plug-ins that I'm not totally familiar with yet, but I like messing around with it because it can change an interesting sound into something more random... Trash is something I'd like to explore some more."
