User experience

  • Owners of the KRK 10s report it provides a powerful bass presence, capable of physically feeling the kick and bass guitar in mixes.

    Source
  • KRK Rokits can output up to 110dB, posing potential hearing risks if used at maximum volume for extended periods.

    Source
  • Owners using the KRK 12s for both music and movies should adjust the subwoofer's low-pass filter to accommodate the different frequency requirements of stereo music and 5.1 movie content.

    Source

Use cases and applications

  • The KRK 12s may be more suitable for genres like hip-hop or bass-focused electronica due to its potentially greater low-end output.

    Source
  • The KRK 12s might be too large for smaller rooms, like a 7x7 meter space, suggesting the 10-inch version could be a better fit.

    Source
  • A mono RCA to 1/4" (6.35mm) TS/TRS cable is needed for connecting the KRK 12s to home theater systems for proper LFE channel use.

    Source

Features and functionality

    Source
  • The KRK 12s has a frequency response of +/-1.5db from 32Hz to 139Hz, potentially limiting its accuracy when set to a 120Hz cutoff for movie LFE channels.

Nice rich sound - Needs more punch imo

Could be a bit more 'punchy' at the attack part of a kick. Seems muddy but that might be my studio. Its worth a shot, at this price point its hard to beat or compare.
