During the U.S leg of Ed's 2014 Multiply tour, front-of-the-house and monitor engineer Chris Marsh decided to swith both Ed's vocal and loop vocal mic for a pair of Sennheiser SKM 9000's. Simultaneously going wireless with his guitars as well using the Sennheiser SK 9000, Chris states: "From an audio point of view, his vocal became a lot more prominent and his guitar sounded more natural. On top of that we’ve been doing stadiums, so having something that has such strong RF capability made a real difference. It meant that Ed could be up to 50m away from the receivers and still have rock-solid reception. Ed has been using the Sennheiser Digital 9000 system for both his last legs of the Multiply tour (including gigs at London's Wembley Stadium and Dublin's Croke Park) and will continue to use it for his Divide tour, starting 2017.

In the video, Ariana Grande can be seen using the Sennheieser SKM 9000 series wireless microphone made by Sennheieser. One key feature that points it out is the blue logo, buttons and long shark fin shaped antenna. Other uses such as Kendrick Lamar and Adele use this type of microphone. At the timestamp 2:38 in the video, you can see the screen at the top and buttons on the bottom.

In the video "Justin Bieber - 2 Much (Live from Paris)," the singer is seen using the Sennheiser SKM 9000 wireless microphone system during his performance, as evident from the footage provided by the official YouTube channel of Justin Bieber.

Here you can see Bruno Mars perform at the 2016 Grammy Awards. Mars’s front-of-house mixer Chris Rabold and monitor engineer Ramon Morales have been ecstatic with the sound quality and reliability of the Digital 9000. Beyoncé started using the Sennheiser Digital 9000 system on her Formation tour and has been using it ever since. She uses a custom made golden SKM 9000 transmitter with an MD 9235 capsule. Having toured extensively over the last year with the system, Beyoncé‘s production team have become intimately familiar with the Digital 9000, and monitor engineer James Berry has also been pleased with the results as well as with the support he is getting from Sennheiser. Beyoncé has since purchased her own Digital 9000 system, so the crew can achieve greater predictability while on the road.
