In 1937, the company launched the M 19, its first studio-quality dynamic microphone. After World War II, beyerdynamic relocated to Heilbronn, Germany, where it continues to design and manufacture its products, with the vast majority of its headphones and microphones handcrafted on-site.
beyerdynamic is best known for its DT series of studio and audiophile headphones — the DT 770 PRO (closed-back), DT 880 PRO (semi-open), and DT 990 PRO (open-back) — which are staples in professional recording studios and among audio enthusiasts. The flagship T1 and T5 Tesla headphones showcase the company's high-end engineering.
