Yoshiki uses the Tama Warlord XY146 snare drum, as shown in a user-uploaded photo on Japan-discoveries. This snare features a 14" x 6" shell made from 1.0 mm thick stainless steel with a mirror finish and a Resonant Sound Edge (R.S.E) design.
