Description

Discover the Waldorf Blofeld Shadow Limited Edition, a synth that combines the best of wavetable and virtual analog synthesis in a sleek, robust form. Crafted with a durable metal chassis, this compact powerhouse offers a vast sonic palette tailored for musicians, producers, and sound designers alike. At its core, the Blofeld boasts three oscillators per voice, each equipped to deliver classic virtual analog waveforms and Waldorf's signature wavetables. This versatile synth is capable of producing everything from warm, organic tones to edgy, futuristic sounds.

The dual multimode filters allow for extensive sound manipulation, offering low-pass, high-pass, band-pass, and notch modes, all with emulations of classic analog filter models. With the Blofeld's advanced modulation system, you can explore new sonic territories, thanks to three fast LFOs and four ADSR envelopes per voice, all easily managed through an intuitive modulation matrix.

For those who love rhythm and groove, the programmable arpeggiator with customizable patterns and accents will be a delight. Meanwhile, the dual effect slots per part provide a range of options from chorus and flanger to reverb and delay, allowing you to shape your sound with precision.

The SL version of the Blofeld goes a step further by integrating sample playback capabilities, opening up a world of hybrid sound design possibilities. With its hands-on control interface and clear display, the Blofeld is as user-friendly as it is powerful, making it an essential tool for any modern musician.

A punchy affordable wave table monster in a box

The engine inside the heavy duty, full metal chassis of the Blofeld delivers the same fat and rich sound that so many Waldorf users worldwide love when they play their Pulse, Q, Q+, Micro Q, Microwave, Microwave II/XT, or even the flagship Wave.

This black finished blofeld is the same as the white one but sounds better due to its electron absorbing rateing therefore the black paintwork. The explanation is simple: as more absorbed electrons reach the inner digital and analog workings of Blofeld and cause each bit to be stronger pronounced, resulting in a very defined and detailled sound. This makes the new Black Blofeld sound even better than before.Yes, you've heard it right. The Blofeld is not only capable of producing these warm, organic analog sounds known from the Q synthesizer line, it also sports a wavetable engine like its predecessors with Wave in their names. Its 25 note polyphonic has a dual effects engine over a 1000 preset editable patchs and 16 part multitimbral and has 64 wavetables and arpeggiated patchs can be saved. This module is easy to program and sounds fat hard to believe its a analog emulation for the price its a steal.
