Classic String Synth
This little beauty does not try to emulate any of the classic string synths and there's no need to as it IS a classic string synth on it's own. It's has easy, hands-on controls, portable and is extremely affordable.
Dreamy synth strings
Great emulation of Logan, Solina, VP-330, Opus 3 strings. I'm always turning on the built-in ensemble and phaser.

You can see a Waldorf Streichfett in this picture of his live set. He even talks about it in the comments, stating: "I like it . Would have loved to bring my real stringer synths but they are too fragile ( and heavy ) for touring so I think the streichfett sounds great for live . I just use the reverb in the unit so no extra FX's (-:"

I’m still a happy owner of Logan II String Ensemble, Arp Omni II and Korg Trident MkI. I’ve never went for expectation Streichfett will replace those. I used totally different approach to the equation and that is – Streichfett will complement those. So as of now on i’m a proud owner of fourth string machine in my arsenal.
