The Les Paul I've always wanted without going into debt!
This is the guitar that started it all for me. First song learned was Led Zeppelin's What Is And What Should Never Be.
5 stars because I'm getting the sound out of it that I want. Someday I'd like to get a DSL. Perhaps that would take the 5 stars and this would follow with 4.
Really simple to use! Love the Christmas like lights that make it easy to tell if you're recording to your loop or if you're just playing over top of it.
I purchased mine second hand and could tell it had seen a lot of use. Well, Boss builds some amazing tank of pedals because it still works and is AWESOME! Excellent Chorus pedal! I had a choice between the Chorus Ensemble and the Super Chorus. Glad I went with the Ensemble!
The Super OverDrive is one of those pedals you just gotta have! Love it!
Love the warm full tones! Many people compare this to a Tube Screamer. IMO, that's all a matter of taste. This sounds exactly like I want it to!
I love the smell of dust burning off the tubes when I first turn it on. Amazing, It still works and sounds really good!
You clamp it to your guitars head-stock, turn it on... and it just works! Works by both vibration and microphone. Mine stopped working via vibration. I emailed the awesome people about it at Snark and before I knew it, I had a brand new replacement sent via mail! Love Snark!
Been using Fender medium picks since the day I found my dad's Telecaster. Heh, they work on a Les Paul too!
Modded with TV Jones Classic Plus Pickup set and a Tru-Arc stainless bridge. Sounds Amazing!
The 535Q really is the Swiss army knife of wah pedals. I picked mine up used at Guitar Center for half the retail price. Love it!
I've been playing D'Addarios since the 90's. For giggles I tried Slinkys out on my Les Paul and like the way the feel and sound. Perhaps what I'm hearing in my head is a bit different these days!
I'm a bit of a Billy Duffy fan. I read that he uses Power Slinkys, so I loaded them onto my Gretsch. I'm really enjoying them! I had NYXL 10/46s on it before. I like the tone of these much better.
Replaced the stock blacktop pickups that came with my Gretsch 5420T. Was a HUGE improvement in output and tone! It's complimented by a TV Jones Classic Plus bridge pickup.
Replaced stock blacktop pickups on my Gretsch 5420t. Absolutely love these pickups! They are complemented with the TV Classics on the neck.
Saw it advertised used on the inter-webs for about half retail and I just had to have it! It has that classic distortion sound to it. I did have the initial problem of getting power to the unit. The 9 volt DC polarity is reversed on the RAT, I use Live Wire Power (AC Adapter), so I had to use a battery plug that could plug directly in the RAT's battery terminal in the compartment. Works like a champ!
Purchased used and it does everything that it should. So much you can do with it. MXR's website has a few settings you can try for giggles. Found my own sound and I love it!
Purchase once and you'll never have to worry about needing 9 volt batteries. Unless of course your power goes out, then you'd need something to power your amp too, unless of course that runs on batteries too!!!
I like mine, it serves it's purpose well!
