I don't have much to say about this but... It's a fantastic mixer and reproduces sound wonderfully. unfortunately it is NOT USB but with another dedicated sound card the input is no problem. My entire studio is wired into this thing and for the cost a great entry level mixer for producers who want to use external gear as well as keep everything tidy in one place.
I've had this sound card since 2011 I think and it has not once failed me. The entry level I/O for my first ever bedroom studio and it's still being used in my mildly professional one. it's loud, flat and great for letting strong sound out of it. idk where i'd be without it... idk if you can still find these but if you can I ABSOLUTELY recommend one if you are a beginner looking for something cheap and powerful.
I use this on the go, at the club and in my studio to rig my DJ laptop into my Xenyx mixer. it's so fucking loud!!!! Like, the headroom is damn near impossible to comprehend. I've had this since I bought Traktor like the year this came out... I think I'll keep using it until I need more outputs or it breaks/gets lost.
I use two of these in my live shows and one in the studio to produce. I gotta say I can see why Madeon does this and honestly i couldn't imagine how I'd run my shows without it. it is quite the multitasker and they are still SUPER relevant. However I bought both of mine used not having a lot of money at the time but they have held up amazing and I painted both of them white.
literally.... why not??? it's the best controller I've ever bought. I use it for DJ sets to trigger FX and in my live shows to trigger visuals sometimes. It was fully custom and is still going strong to this day!!! The 64 is basically 4 of these put together... so why not take some apart and make more spectras?!?! >.>
it was good when I was just getting into digital DJing and with my custom traktor mapping went well but it's not built great and looks pretty terrible.... I've replaced the cross fader like 8 times and it's all dinged up... recommend but not for long term use...
I've had this since I friend gave it to me and I've used it in FL and in Ableton and it worked absolutely well until Ableton 10 where suddenly it doesn't wanna work anymore... oddly enough just in time for the Komplete Kontrol M34 and well.... I'm gonna trade this in for like 10 bucks and get some coffee after placing my order for that.
I use them in the studio and live/DJing and they are SO good. great colors, great connection and sound transfer. I use red ones to denote sound and white to match my white gear, I love them so damn much. buy them, now!!!

It's just for analysis, prep and organization. I don't use itunes anymore and even though I'm a Traktor fan boi I still HATE the track prep in it... It's super solid and I may update to Rekordbox DJ to give it a try one day
For my regular DJ shows, radio show and "boiler room" sets Traktor has always been there for me since the early days. Came up with it, still support it. Great for technical DJs who use a lot of pre-planning and FX, cues and loops. I feel like I still have to use Rekordbox to prep but Traktor is solid for anything else.
Headphones 3
idk what it is but these are literally the best earbuds I've ever used. a nice tickle of bass, lots of mids and highs and they seem greatly balanced. As a producer I think it's important to experience music on different types of headphones and I've even DJ'd with these in a pinch when I've forgotten or broke my good ones. Plus they look great and last forever.
okay for one... I'd never DJ with these or rely on them for full on mastering but I love these for travel, I love these for on the go mastering and I love them for track prep. They look great, super comfortable and I have actually fallen asleep on the noisiest plane ride ever and didn't hear the guy next to me suck out my soul with his snoring. I got them in luxe blue edition and I think they're awesome!!!
I literally always keep these in my DJ bag but forget to use them instead using my earpods more than anything. If I wanna be "that guy" I'll whip them out to produce with in starbucks or something but generally they are saved for the booth. I don't use them in my live performance though.
Other Gear 4
literally the home base for all my productions and show prep that I don't do outside of the house. It games, it's produces, it controlls the lights... It's amazing. I have a generic HP monitor connected to extend the display and it works just as good as any desktop for the task at hand.
I've had this laptop since 2012 (at the time a top of the line macbook killer) I use it for DJ gigs, live shows and for producing on the go!!! It's a beefy little SOB. It's also my bedside friend when I'm sick and my travel laptop. An all around beat of a laptop and even though they don't make them anymore I still think it's an amazing laptop.
I rebuilt an old macbook pro 1278 mid 2012 to use as a DJ laptop and it hosts the scripts and home of my resident sonic architekt and half of Meridian Koi..... KOI! lol. It's gonna eventually be replaced or retired to home use once I can properly upgrade.
The important thing to know about these is that they are entry level at best. A lot of the reviews say that they are not good at all for music production but I have found that in a properly treated room they sound fantastic. Sure you are missing some frequencies here and there but I don't see them being colored in a way that is offensive. We can produce on these and also practice performances in one single room with one pair of monitors. They look better in white.
