Sony VAIO E Series | Laptop Mag

laptopmag.com

The Sony VAIO E-series offers an attractive design with multiple color options and good graphics performance, making it a stylish choice for home use. Its crisp Blu-ray playback and decent webcam are noteworthy features. However, the laptop is plagued by weak battery life, a friction-heavy touchpad, and tinny speakers, which may deter potential buyers seeking a multimedia powerhouse. While it handles tasks well and has strong Wi-Fi performance, the mediocre viewing angles and hefty weight make it less portable. Overall, it’s a visually appealing option for stationary use but falls short in delivering a complete multimedia experience.

Sony Vaio E Series 17-inch review: Sony Vaio E Series 17 - CNET

cnet.com

The Sony Vaio E Series 17-inch laptop is a mixed bag, offering decent performance, a Full HD screen, and a Blu-ray drive, making it appealing for movie enthusiasts. However, its heavy and bulky design, coupled with a cheap plastic feel, may deter those seeking portability or premium build quality. While the higher-end configuration delivers respectable performance, the entry-level model’s affordability comes at a significant cost to power. This laptop is best for those who prioritize home use and multimedia consumption over mobility and aesthetics.

Sony Vaio E Series Review | 2012 | Digital Trends

digitaltrends.com

The Sony Vaio E Series is a mixed bag that impresses with a strong processor, good keyboard, and stylish design options. However, it struggles with a poor touchpad, short battery life, and questionable value for its price. While it offers customization options like a quad-core processor and discrete graphics, competitors like HP and Lenovo provide similar or better specs at lower costs. Ultimately, the Vaio E shines in design but falters in performance-to-price ratio, making it a hard sell against more affordable alternatives.

holy shit yes!!!

I've had this laptop since 2012 (at the time a top of the line macbook killer) I use it for DJ gigs, live shows and for producing on the go!!! It's a beefy little SOB. It's also my bedside friend when I'm sick and my travel laptop. An all around beat of a laptop and even though they don't make them anymore I still think it's an amazing laptop.

Great value for money. CPU could be stronger, but still handles well.
