Nils Frahm had Ólafur Arnalds use this harmonium during the 'Trance Frendz' recording sessions. It's used on the song '23:52' and perhaps others.
These are predominantly sold locally used in Germany.
"I've an upright piano, which has been slightly modified with felt and other things, and which I've had a pickup built into. Then there's usually a Fender Rhodes with some delay pedals, and a Roland Juno 60 analogue synth on top, which is connected to a tape delay. Then there's the grand piano, which has also been modified, in a way that I think sounds right for a grand piano. It's pretty chaotic sometimes to sound check on a busy festival schedule.
"I'm adding a Moog Taurus in now too, so I'm just learning to play bass with my left foot."
"Yea, I'm old fashioned in that way. I have a soundcard and a computer, but I've also got an eight-track 1-inch Studer tape machine and two master tape recorders.

Nils Frahm uses a Helpinstill Piano Pickup, as seen in a Facebook post by Helpinstill Piano Sensor featuring a photo of the pickup on the soundboard. This model appears similar to the one used in several of his live performances, such as the one visible at the 18:21 mark in this YouTube video. While the exact model is unclear, the image suggests it may be the Model 280.
I have a Binson Echorec 2 and two Roland Space Echo RE-501s. I run them in stereo with different settings. When you run those delay tracks through some more reverbs, things truly start to shimmer.
