According to the source on Scribd, Allen Collins used the Original G&G Mel Bay Green Guitar Pick during his time with Lynyrd Skynyrd.

In this live performance of "Gimme Three Steps", Allen can be seen right at the very beginning of the video playing this Explorer. He is believed to have bought this guitar between 1974-1976, bu did not begin using it until 1976.

At 1:21 of this live performance of "Freebird", you can see Allen playing a Gibson Firebird. Allen used this guitar as his primary model for most of Skynyrd's Ronnie-era, and at one point owned up to 4 different Firebirds.

Allen used Marshalls before the Peavey deal.

In the early years of Lynyrd Skynyrd, Allen Collins played a 1960s Gibson Goldtop with mini humbuckers according to scribd. His mother bought it for him for $500. It later became Gary Rossington’s main guitar until it was stolen in 1973.

He would use 3 70s Vox Wah pedals.
