Bob Seger's Gear

The latest issue of Guitar Aficionado features none other than Rock and Roll Hall of Famer Bob Seger, and standing dutifully next to him, his Takamine P7D.
After hearing the Spencer Davis Group hit "Gimme Some Lovin'" with its distinctive Hammond B-3 organ riff, Seger went for a similar sound on this track, and made the B-3 a staple of his live shows. On this track, Bob Schultz, who was a member of Seger's band, played the organ.
Here he is pictured with a Gibson Les Paul, on the album cover.
Bob Seger is seen using the Telecaster Thinline in this photo. It was also seen in the music videos for American Storm and Old Time Rock N' Roll.
At 0:27 in the official music video for The Fire Inside by Bob Seger & The Silver Bullet Band, Bob is seen using an Electro-Voice RE20 microphone for his vocals.
