"My nice ARP 2600, I'm really, really happy. I bought it in L.A. and it was really difficult getting it here, with almost going to prison, but it worked. It works with all the filters and everything work really well. To get a sequence out of it I have meshed it up with an MFB Urzerg."

"For me this is the easiest solution to get a sequence because you can also have four different CVs all doing a different sequence at the same time. I think you can have one CV with 32 steps, two with 16, and I think if you go four CVs then it's just four or eight steps left. it works fine for me. It's also synced to the drum machine."

When asked what compression he used on his track "Missile," Alex Ridha says, "I used my Prime 4000 compressor...which is a model of an SSL and it sounds really nice."

Boys Noize prefers using Pioneer's DJM mixer and CDJs since he likes to "mix fast." He uses a fourth CDJ to play stems from, to keep his sets fresh and interesting.

Boys Noize is using the Avalon VT-747SP compressor and EQ to mix down a track.

In an article by Musicradar showcasing Boys Noize's studio, the artist discusses using the Chandler Limited TG Series Mini Rack Limiter to enhance headroom and breathe life into individual sounds during digital mixing.

So you can just go on load and play any notes, and then it will play the pattern of the thing which is the same thing - it's pretty cool."
