Brian Marshall

Brian Marshall is heavily endorsed by Sadowsky. In a September 2012 interview for Bass Guitar Magazine, Marshall has said:

"I’ve played Sadowsky basses for ages. When I was in Creed I was going through a number of Fenders. Basically they just wouldn’t stay in tune and I often ended up smashing them up! I love the feel of a vintage Fender, though. My tech at the time told me about Roger Sadowsky, and we stopped by his workshop when we were in New York. I tried one and just fell in love with it. So I bought it and custom ordered a couple more 4-strings. Then when Alter Bridge started the guys suggested I try 5-string bass. I was reluctant but it really adds more depth to the sound. So I got a few 5-strings from Roger. Sadowskys are all I play live. They play great. They have that feel of a vintage bass, but with a modern sound. You can do a lot with the EQ, run it passive or active, though I always run it passive."

Brian can be seen using this bass during his first tenure with Creed. It can be seen with a modified middle pickup and a chrome pickguard.

At the heart of the MAG C410T-600 EVO III combo lies a feature-packed bass preamp with rotary bass, middle and treble controls, along with supplementary rotary controls providing 15dB of cut and boost at 220Hz and 1.6kHz. in a recent interview for the Alter bridge tour he mention that he use the sans amp DI for more dirtyness in his sound to match Tremonti and Kennedy attack....lol

Construction

Constructed from high-grade birch ply and protected by a tough, buffalo leather cloth covering, metal corners and steel grilles, ABM Cabinets use high quality handles in favour of inferior flip handles, which can become loose and rattle after years of use. Vibration from the cabinet is reduced by the use of heavy-duty rubber feet.
