Before Brooks became a Zildjian and Innovative Percussion Drumstick artist, he used the Vater 2B drumsticks with Bad Religion and Suicidal Tendencies.
"I've never had a beater to my exact specs, and I wanted to design something that was lighter in weight for the longer sets I play with Avenged Sevenfold, which reduces leg fatigue, with as much double kick playing that I am faced with, a lighter beater in weight definitely helps that."
