That’s pretty much it. I’ll run through an effects pedal board, but I’m not really even using a whole lot there ? just a few delay pedals. There’s an Ibanez analog delay AD9, Line 6 delay modeler and a Bad Horsie Wah, that’s pretty much it. It’s not a massive pedal board. Basically I just rely on the guitar, the tone and the amps.

In this rig rundown claudio talks about the anna pedal he designed with wren and cuff. This is to celebrate the 20th anniversary of coheed. It is both a fuzz and overdrive pedal in one. The fuzz is based on a big muff, where as the overdrive is based on a boss super overdrive. Those two pedals are staples of claudio’s guitars tone. Claudio has a sg special in his collection. He played it live in the early days of coheed until the headstock snapped. At the time he didn’t know that was reparable. He lost track of the guitar over the years, and it was possibly stolen when his house was vandalized. Afew years later he saw the guitar on social media. He knew it was his because of the Puerto Rican flag sticker, chipped paint, and repaired headstock. He traded to get the guitar back while in Chicago on tour

At namm 2025 claudio released his new signature guitar the jackhammer. This was released under the evil instruments name. The production of the guitar is done through dunnable. The guitar is based on a custom guitar built for claudio by his guitar tech Kevin Allen. The guitar’s shape looks to be a combination of a sg, explore, and flying v. Claudio states he has always wanted a signature guitar, but since that never happened, he decided to create one from the ground up. He states that he wanted to create a guitar that was completely his own and that makes sense for him

In Premier Guitar's "Rig Rundown - Coheed and Cambria's Claudio Sanchez & Travis Stever," Claudio Sanchez's guitar tech Kevin Allen demonstrates a Gibson Custom Shop EDS-1275 Double-Neck Guitar, used exclusively for the song "Welcome Home."
