Colin Newman's Effects Pedals
This post from Newman's Facebook page shows him receiving a KTR directly from Bill Finnegan backstage at a Wire performance in Boston.
Listed as one of the many pieces of gear on Colin Newman's of Colin Newman & Corrado Izzo, Wire, Githead, and Spigel*Newman*Colin*Malka, Swim Studio page, you'll see a Malekko Chorus Effects Pedal.
The MXR M134 Stereo Chorus is listed among a full list of gear on the Swim Studio page, Colin Newman's of Colin Newman & Corrado Izzo, Wire, Githead studio.
"One thing I use a lot in my Wire setup is my original MXR Phase 100, which is a pretty good phaser." Catch this interview with Colin Newman of Colin Newman & Corrado Izzo, Wire, Githead, and Spigel*Newman*Colin*Malka.
Producer Mike Thorne describes the recording of Wire's single, "I Am the Fly," on his Stereo Society website. "The singer and second guitarist, Colin Newman, had acquired an MXR Flanger pedal (I forget how, but I remember acutely that the one I bought out of my own pocket, specifically for the single's recording sessions, was over £100 ($200 in 1978). The essence of the single seemed to be turning all the controls to maximum. That became the introduction to the track, and a classic sound. Somehow, that introductory sound reminds me inescapably of Colin's personality."
Newman's website lists the Monster as a pedal used in his ~SWIM studio (and presumably also in his live setup, as well).

Colin Newman includes the Eventide PitchFactor Harmonizer among his outboard effects on his website, showcasing its role in his sound setup.
In this profile on Eastwood Guitars' website, Newman specifies that he uses an H9. "I have a bunch of exotic things, too, like the Eventide H9, which I'm totally under-using at the moment, just to make 12-string sounds," he says.

Colin Newman of the band Wire uses the MXR M143 Limiter, as confirmed by a firsthand account shared on Catalinbread Effects' blog. During a visit to a music shop near their performance venue, members of Wire purchased both available MXR Limiters, describing the pedal as one of their "secret weapons" and expressing their habit of buying each one they encounter.
