Saw him backstage in 1993 with his guitar tech and i looked at his collection of Jackson guitars that he used during the gig and i asked him which is your favorite one he said "probably my signature king v with the megadeth sticker on the wing".

I could be sued if anybody found out that the product was fraudulent, which, this stuff isn't. It's great musical instruments and I totally stand by it.” Mustaine uses Seymour Duncan Livewire pickups. “I never really was an active guy,” he says at (1:26), “and then they gave me this pickup and it was like the ones I was using but with a little more "oomph" to it, you know, and it was cool to have a guitar that sounded the way I wanted it to sound without me having to adjust the amp a lot. This is one of those guitars you can just plug in and it sounds good.”
