Description
Meet the B.C. Rich Ironbird, a powerhouse of an electric guitar that’s built for those who crave bold aesthetics and fierce performance. This solid-body electric guitar stands out with its aggressive Ironbird-shaped nyatoh body, offering a perfect mix of style and comfort for those long jam sessions. The neck-through design ensures seamless access to the highest frets, making it a dream for shredders. Crafted with a satin-finished, 3-piece maple neck, the Ironbird provides an ultra-slim, lightning-fast playing experience.
This beast doesn’t just look the part; it delivers the goods with its DiMarzio Super Distortion bridge humbucker. Known for its high output, this pickup drives your amp into overdrive with ease, producing chunky chords and soaring leads that cut through any mix. Whether you're laying down heavy riffs or intricate solos, the Ironbird's tone remains clear and authoritative.
The Ironbird is equipped to handle the most expressive playing styles thanks to the Floyd Rose 1000 Series double-locking tremolo. Dive bombs and squeals are executed effortlessly while maintaining rock-solid tuning stability, thanks to Grover Rotomatic 18:1-ratio tuners. Its sharp diamond fingerboard inlays and a striking 6-in-line Harpoon headstock complete the look, making it as much a visual statement as a sonic one.
If your playing demands an instrument that combines both form and function, the B.C. Rich Ironbird is your ideal companion.

Jeff holds a B.C. Rich Ironbird in this photo. Appears to be promo shot. I couldn't find any photos of him using it live or in the studio.
Paul Stanley occasionally played a B.C. Rich Ironbird guitar in the mid-1980s, as shown in the provided image.
"This is a BC Rich USA Custom Ironbird. Purchased off a good friend of mine, Joey Capizzi. He wanted to sell it and he wanted to keep it in the family and told me that I had to have it. At the time, I told him I couldn't afford to buy it. I knew it was a quality piece, but he said 'I don't care. It has to be yours and you should have it.' And vioala, there it is."

It's actually a black Ironbird Pro.
I’ll start with my guitars. My main guitar currently is my BC Rich Ironbird Pro. It is my first guitar with a real Floyd Rose tremelo system. I thought I would dread it, but now I feel weird using a guitar without one. I changed out the original EMG pick-up for a Seymour Duncan Black Winter. I have completely fallen in love with it.
