Dominic "Forest" Lapointe

Dominic "Forest" Lapointe uses a custom-made left-handed 6-string fretless bass, as showcased in the Beyond Creation bass playthrough of "Earthborn Evolution" on YouTube. This instrument features a 34.5" scale Black Limba body with a Katalox top, finished in Trans Black Satin. The neck is crafted from a 5-piece combination of flame maple and purple heart, reinforced with carbon fiber and a double-action truss rod. Additional specifications include a Madagascar rosewood fretboard with ebony binding, nacre front inlays, and Luminlay side dots. The bass is equipped with Aguilar DCB pickups, an Aguilar OBP-3 18V preamp, Gotoh tuners, a Hipshot 17.5mm bridge, and Elixir Light 14202 strings, weighing in at 9 pounds.
