Eddie Vedder

Eddie Vedder has used many modified telecasters throughout the years, this just so happens to be one of his main guitars. Fitted with a P90 pickup in the neck position.

Vedder isn’t necessarily known for his acoustic guitars but he certainly owns some nice ones. Here we see his ’30s era Gibson L-00, his 1934 Martin 0-18K and his ’50s-era Martin 00-17.

Eddie Vedder is seen using the Gibson J-200 Pete Townshend Signature Artist Series guitar in a user-uploaded photo from Screamingguitars.

He can be seen using this live many times for their slower songs.

Ed's really interested in guitars with distortion and/or effects built on-board the guitar, such as in the vintage, Italian-made Vox guitars that he owns. With those guitars he can turn the distortion, and/or other effects, on and off at the flip of a switch right on the guitar itself. It's a pretty neat concept, but whereas the Vox guitars naturally sound O.K., they don't sound great. So far though, Ed's never taken one of the Vox's out on tour with him. (You can check out one of his Vox's at the very beginning of "MFC" on the SVT video.)

In the 2003 Concert Video Pearl Jam: At The Garden - Eddie Vedder can be seen using a Gibson SG Junior for the Some Songs - Corduroy - 10:21.

Eddie Vedder uses the Fender Limited-edition Jack White Triplesonic Acoustasonic Telecaster - Blacktop Arctic White, as confirmed by an article in Guitar World by Phil Weller, which reports that Jack White gifted Vedder this signature guitar for a Pearl Jam performance.

In an Instagram post by Eddie Vedder, he is clearly seen playing a Gibson J-200 in the first slide. The post, dated October 24, 2023, features a photo by @jktang taken during a performance at Benaroya Hall.

In the 3rd slide of this Instagram post from Eddie Vedder, a white Fender Stratocaster with what looks like a rosewood fingerboard can be seen on a stand behind Vedder as he performs live.
