In answer to a question on this instagram post of what equipment was used in his improvised accompaniment to a livestream of the Gendingadalir volcano eruption, Swords replied 'minilogue + octatrack'.

Generally I just use Logic and that’s kind of it. I’ve got a few effects pedals, too, and I’ve got that four-track and a few MIDI keyboards, but the bulk of everything is done in Logic. Quite often I’ll pull a vocal sample into Audacity if I need to do something specific with it or clean it up, as Logic isn’t always the best for working with audio files directly. But on the whole, my production work is done in Logic, and when I play live, I use Ableton.
