In this video he shows his live equipment.

In an MTV Iggy interview on YouTube, Gold Panda is shown using an Apple iPhone 4 with an app to send audio samples during his live performances.

The Juno-106 can be seen in the left side of this photo of Gold Panda; “I just stand there and play it while looking out of the window. It sounds even better when you run it through a tape machine or tape delay. There might be better polysynths, but this is pretty versatile and really simple to use.”

In an interview with MTV Iggy, Gold Panda mentions that he began creating music using the Atari SC1224.

At minute 1:50 he said that the Akai was one of his first equipment.

In an MTV Iggy interview, Gold Panda discusses using the Line 6 DL4 Delay Modeler for looping sounds in his DJ setup.

"...And I wanted to use the 808 drum machine because I’d always wanted one, but they became very expensive and I was never able to afford it. I finally got one and I use it as much as possible..."

"...Yeah, well with equipment it was just one machine — which was an Akon MPC 2000 XL — and I’ve had that machine since I was 19, well over 10 years..."

At the time of this video, Gold Panda used Ableton Live 8 for his live performances, as can be seen on his laptop screen
