I used a Jackson Monarch and for the clean parts, I used a Fender 1961 Reissue Strat that I have - the Gary Moore Strat. Amp-wise, honestly, this album was recorded with plug-ins basically, right into my interface. I use an IK Multimedia AXE I/O interface into ProTools and it's just easy and convenient to record.

On this video we see Gus G using his Jackson pro signature guitar to play some of the best Ozzy Osbourne riffs.

But I have to say, it's getting really close. Some companies have done some amazing sounds out there. I'm a big fan of EZmix Toontrack - I use that. A few years ago I had the opportunity to actually profile my sounds - my amps and my tones that I use.
