"I have had the great opportunity to create my own signature bass with Sandberg guitars. It was a natural choice for me since I have been playing (and loving it) the California VM hard core aged masterpiece for many years and I know the bass + the nice people at Sandberg very well. I wanted to make a bass that fit the music I played with PRINCE as well as my own music. So basically a bass with a nice rock and funk tone with an ability to sound more old school and some extra options when it comes to create different solo sounds. I think we build a very beautiful bass with lots of different sound options but most importantly -a bass that is super funky sounding. A video will be made soon to demo the different features and sound options. In the mean time feel free to browse around the pics and check out the specs -I hope you think it is as beautiful as I do :) (This is a 4 string bass but it will also come in a 5 string version)."

Ida Kristine Nielsen uses the TC Electronic BH800 bass amplifier head, as detailed on her official gear page.
"I use a Crybaby bass wah, an envelope filter, two octavers that each play an octave up and an octave down, TC’s Polytune and a bass booster."
"The sound (toneprint) is called funk in the trunk, and we're trying to do a sound that is not a fuzz, but has a little bit of bite to it, and sounds a little bit old school as well; because i really like that."

I am a long time user of the Gruv-gear frets wraps and I never play without them. They are really super handy for my style of playing and are a huge upgrade from the hair thingie I used to have 🙂 I also use their club bag which is super convenient.
