Description

Introducing the TC Electronic BonaFide Buffer, your ultimate tone guardian. This active, low-noise buffer counteracts the dreaded "blanket effect" and treble loss that can occur due to long cable runs or complex pedal chains. It achieves this with an intelligent impedance-matching design, ensuring your guitar's pickups project their true sound, unaffected by cable capacitance. With its high-impedance input and low 100ohm output, it stands ready to harmonize perfectly with almost any pedal, making your pedal chain sound as it should.

Key Features:

  • Active, low-noise buffer
  • Effectively counteracts treble loss and "blanket effect"
  • High-impedance input, low 100ohm output
  • Compatible with nearly all pedals
  • Ensures true sound projection from guitar pickups

Buffer to Keep

This thing made me a true believer in Buffer pedals. I don't have a ton of pedals on my board, but the difference is quite noticeable. It brings back the top-end, makes the low-end more defined, and increases the pick attack sensitivity. It will never leave my board.

buffer

It's a buffer. Use it in front of a long signal chain or a really long cable to keep all the bright presence in your tone.
