On Jason's official Instagram, he can be seen playing a 1954 Fender Telecaster. He is quoted saying "54 telecaster-Klon-Tone King Imperial".

In an interview with Mark Agnesi for Gibson TV, Jason Isbell talks about his unique 1959 Les Paul Standard, famously owned by Ed King of Lynyrd Skynyrd, and the Gibson Custom Shop replica of the instrument in its current state.

According to Jason Isbell's artist page on the official Martin website, he used a 1940 Martin 0-17 guitar.
