Again (Again-Again-Again...)
My best buddy has a pedal board with 4 digital delays on it, says you can't have to many. Personally Ive always preferred the sort of fuzzy and dissolving quality of analog delay- I figure the digital stuff is in every laptop and studio rack so there's always chances to use it. My favorite thing about this pedal pother than the sound, which is FABULOUS, is that you have 2 delays and you can switch between say a slap back and a more reverie long thing and not give up too much real estate on the ground...Ive been stomping on the one I bought for about 8 years and it doesn't even hummm...

The sexiest delay sound you will ever hear.
Seriously. I've been racking my brain for the right adjective and that's it. The repeats are warm and full. The decay is smooth and deep. Its the best delay I've ever heard, analog or digital.
The new enclosure looks fantastic. I'm a big fan of the thick plastic cover on the top that keeps everything looking good. As always with AnalogMan, you get simple controls that do a lot, but easily the coolest thing about it are the expression out and the FX loop. Sad to say, I haven't used the loop yet, but controlling the delay time with your foot opens up some wild opportunities, especially when you start stacking other delays afterwards. In fact, the only thing I wish I could do with this pedal that I can't already is chain the two delays together in series. Maybe I'll just have to get a second one.

that's because its not 2 delays, just one BBD engine with a switch to toggle between 2 different clock/mix paths (pretty easy to do once you are making a true bypass pedal)

Favorite delay pedal yet
The Maxon is a great delay pedal, don't get me wrong. However, the ARDX20 was the end of my delay searching. It is extremely versatile and I always find myself going back to it.
Also, I don't get why people say it's such a huge pedal? I was somewhat worried about this when I ordered it and I was surprised how small it was when it came in. I definitely think the size is an exaggeration, especially considering you have two seperate delays.

"I've got... [Analogman's] new [ARDX20] delay... I think those options can help express certain feelings and certain attitudes, and I’m always looking for new ways to do that. It’s exciting because there’s so much out there that I don’t even know about—the whole thing’s an adventure.”
My interest in instruments from around the world continues to grow. During 2014 and 2015 I've collected some more, including a Peruvian charango, oud from Iraq, cigar box guitar and electric dulcimer from the States. I'm also pleased with my new Anolog.Man pedals.
