Facebook of Jon Carin: In my pursuit of the perfect hoodie (I’ll explain later), I stumbled upon the brilliantly talented team that constitutes Meris, makers of exquisite sound manipulation devices (the words ‘pedals’ and ‘stomp boxes’ need to be retired). The LVX is a complex thing of beauty, but brilliantly & simply laid out. Just trying it in mono with guitar now, which sounds stunning, but I think it may be even better suited to keyboard textures. Can’t wait to try.

Quick change of gears…and a change of gear. Arenas in the round, then a historic theater, now South & Central American stadiums, not in the round.

So it’s back to my rejigged TINAD tools taken out of mothballs after a ride on a cargo ship, along with my buddy, Seamus, who doesn’t smell remotely like mothballs & flew by air, thankfully.

And reunited with my amazing Vintage Vibe piano & MiniKorg FS700. I don’t know how I went without them these past 4 months. Playing & sounding better than ever. ❤️
