Jørn "Necrobutcher" Stubberud's Gear
Necrobutcher plays the Epiphone Les Paul Special bass these days in most Mayhem live gigs. This bass isn't his original Les Paul bass from the '90s though. In the '90s he used to use a Gibson Les Paul Special bass.
In this image Jørn can be seen playing his (at the time) main bass guitar, an Export bass manufactured by the Pearl Guitar Company, often mistaken for an Epiphone Genesis bass, but can easily be identified as the Export by looking at the shape of the headstock which is squared off compared to the curvy Epiphone headstock, as well as the presence of binding along the fretboard which the Genesis lacks.
Necrobutcher uses the early '90s era Gibson Les Paul Special bass. This bass is his original Les Paul bass from 90's.

In the YouTube video by AllAboutMusic!, Jørn "Necrobutcher" Stubberud is clearly seen using a Fender Steve Harris Signature Precision Bass with a gold mirror pickguard during the recording of Mayhem's 2019 album "DAEMON." The video caption confirms it is from the recording session for the album released on October 25.

Fender Steve Harris Signature Precision Bass (1st Generation)
Electric BassesJørn "Necrobutcher" Stubberud is confirmed to have used the Fender Steve Harris Signature Precision Bass (1st Generation) to record Mayhem's album "DAEMON," as evidenced by a video on YouTube from AllAboutMusic! In the video, the bass is identifiable by its gold pickguard, which replaced the original wine red pickguard. This information was further corroborated by Roger Erikson in a Facebook post, specifying the year and model of the bass and noting that the knobs and pickup covers had also been replaced.
