Rinus Gerritsen's Gear
Rinus playing the famous doubleneck longhorn bass he built back in the 70's with his father. This is one of the instruments Rinus is famous for using. It basically combines the Danelectro Longhorn shortscale (30" Scale bass) with a long scale (34" Scale) Fender Precision Bass. The shortscale side has a Kahler Bass Trem.
This bass was mostly used from the mid 1970's up through recording/performance of "Cut" in 1982 and maybe sometimes afterward when he started using the "Warhorse" basses that Vox Humana now makes (a Dutch luthier). Typically the more aggressive sounds come from teh short scale neck and the more traditional bass sounds come from the Long Scale.

'I don't think it's an Ampeg, looks like a custom build with an Ampeg badge. Looks like it just has a 1-space rack unit instaled on top.'
In this online discussion (w/ pics) it is stated that Rinus uses the Ampeg B1 combo as the speakers of another pre / poweramp that is placed in place of the Ampeg's
