Ryan Jarman's Amplifiers
In this video, Ryan Jarman talks about how he uses the Orange AD30 combo:
"I use the AD30, which is head and cab. But I hide the head behind the cab. And then I put on the AD30 combo on the top, and just run them both together. I'm not entirely sure why I started doing that..."
In this photo of Ryan Jarman performing live, his amp head can be seen in the background. Based on the writing in the upper right corner of the head, he is using an Orange Rockerverb 100 on top of a large Orange speaker cab. This photo is from The Cribs at O Beco São Paulo, and was taken November 2012 by Donetts Diniz.
In this video of Ryan Jarman of The Cribs talking about Orange Amps, he says his first Orange amp was a Crush 30 combo. Around the 1:00 minute mark in the video he says:
"The first time I actually got an Orange was probably in 2001, and it's when the Orange Crush came out. I got an Orange Crush for my birthday ... I was really excited that it was an Orange amp however I could actually afford. It was a way of getting an Orange but on a modest budget. I still really love that amp. I think it was the Crush 30. It became our main recording amp. All our early demos we recorded with the Crush. And even now whenever we go to the studio we always take the Orange Crush with us and split the signal between my Orange rig and the Crush, just because I still think it sounds really good on records. I still really love that amp actually."
At 44:28 into this video of The Cribs live at Reading Festival 2015, Ryan Jarman's Green Electricamp can be seen, going through the Orange 4x12 cab.
