Speaking about his favorite pieces of gear, Chaz says "...I recently got this Yamaha DX7s synth. It's awesome. I'm using that on everything right now."

Chaz is using the Minilogue live on his Outer Peace tour.

Starting with his 2011 album "Underneath The Pine," Toro Y Moi frequently makes use of the Roland JX-3P synth.

Chaz talks about mixing his album "Anything in Return" at Different Fur Studios. He was keen on not using too many software synths for the album, and said he made use of the studio's Korg MS2000.

Toro y Moi showcases his use of the Moog Minimoog Voyager in an Instagram post, highlighting it as one of his favorite hardware synthesizers.

Toro y Moi used the Korg Prologue 16-Voice Analog Keyboard Synthesizer during a live performance, as shown in a Google search result.

One of the hardware synths Toro Y Moi uses in his recordings is the Clavia Nord Electro 3. He also uses it live to play piano, as seen in several videos of Toro Y Moi performing.

Toro y Moi uses a Korg R3 for the main keyboard on the stage.

At the Pitchfork Music Festival 2013, Toro y Moi used the Dave Smith Instruments Tetra Desktop Synthesizer Module alongside an Alesis MIDI controller, as shown in the performance video.
