Torres' Effects Pedals
“I usually play with a more elaborate rig, but for SXSW I only brought a few pedals and carried them around in my backpack all week. I wanted to keep setup time to a minimum and reduce the weight of my gear as much as possible, as I'm usually carrying it all on my back from venue to venue during SXSW.” - Torres about her pedalboard.
The pedal is mentioned in her pedalboard in 2017 Reverb write-up. 2021 Premier Guitar rig rundown also mentions the pedal in her pedalboard.
"Transparent" is a guitardom buzzword. It's often used in marketing speak for the next-best pedal offering organic, free-range, USDA-approved tone. /.../ Nothing Scott has selected for her stomp station can be described as subtle or translucent. Even her delays and reverbs accentuate weird, supernatural flavor crystals. The filth and fury comes in the potent pairing of a Joyo Vintage Overdrive and EarthQuaker Devices Palisades.
"That’s mainly the Earthquaker Devices Organizer pedal. For the live solo version I chose to play it as it was originally written, before I added the effect."
According to Premier Guitar's SXSW gear report, Torres uses Death by Audio Echo Dream 2 pedal. The pedal was mentioned in 2021 Premier Guitar rig rundown:
Next is the Death By Audio Echo Dream 2 that brings in modulation, delay, and boost/fuzz. She claims this is her "most-utilized" pedal. She really likes how the echo and fuzz circuits interact with the Joyo.
According to Premier Guitar's interview, Torres uses Fulltone Fulldrive2 MOSFET pedal.
The pedal was mentioned in 2017 Reverb writeup. The pedal is also mentioned in 2021 Premier Guitar rig rundown.
The EQD Afterneath brings in ambient, deep, spelunking reverbs. Beefing up the Afterneath and filling it out with faux synth vibes is the Electro-Harmonix POG2. Another favorite application for the POG2 is pulling its attack all the way down and dramatically gliding into the notes.
Earthquaker Afterneath is mentioned in 2017 Reverb writeup. Premier Guitar 2021 rig rundown mentions that Torres uses the Afterneath for "ambient, deep, spelunking reverbs".

According to Premier Guitar's interview, Torres uses Line 6 DL4 delay pedal.

"Transparent" is a guitardom buzzword. It's often used in marketing speak for the next-best pedal offering organic, free-range, USDA-approved tone. (Okay, that's a bit of a stretch, but you get the point.) Nothing Scott has selected for her stomp station can be described as subtle or translucent. Even her delays and reverbs accentuate weird, supernatural flavor crystals. The filth and fury comes in the potent pairing of a Joyo Vintage Overdrive and EarthQuaker Devices Palisades.
In a Premier Guitar Rig Rundown with Chris Kies, Torres uses the Empress Superdelay Digital Delay Pedal to achieve complex, time-bending effects, incorporating modulation, reverse delay, compression, and the vintage grit of old tape echoes.
The last pedal is a Meris Enzo that is equal parts inspiring and frustrating. The multi-voice synthesizer reacts differently to each note played by Torres. "I have a hard time getting it under control and taming the beast, but that's what I love about it."
