Well covered already I'd only add...
Look into properly incorporating it into live or studio recording. A DI box, or a Radial Engineering EXTC 500 series in a Lunchbox is what I use in my studio-portable & for a countless amount of other pedals. Get more out of your higher end pedals my just getting rid of the noise & nonsense of proper impedance matching, etc. Poof! You've got loads more effects to record with. All patched in & ready on a send or insert whenever you want it. Use it on whatever you want-Drums/Vox/anything-
Milk it.

Can you set it for 100% wet and split the signal using an ABY?

Yes there is a mix knob for that. But I think an expression pedal would more precise to control the mix ratio rather than an ABY box.

During an interview w/ Orange Amplifiers, Omar Rodriguez-Lopez talks about his Empress Super Delay (Vintage Modified model) [@ 6:01]
"Hands down, the best delay pedal that I've used, just because, again, how versatile it is, you know, and it sounds great, you know, it's not completely analog, but it's not an issue, it sounds so great."
Paisely uses an Empress Super Delay, spotted in this video at (3:39). According to his guitar tech, “with the Empress I can get a ton of different delays out of that so, you know, that saves me from trucking around ten different delay pedals.”
"All delays fit everywhere, to be honest. I haven’t spent too much time A/Bing different kinds of delays and instruments together. However I do have some favorites: The Empress Super Delay is getting used a lot, both live and in the studio..."
From Tone King video, explaining his effects setup, with Jeordie and his guitar tech, as a guitarist instead of bassist for Marilyn Manson.
And yes, there are other great sounds like the Eventide stuff I really like. I’m a big fan of the Empress stuff. I have an Empress Super Delay and their Echo System and their new reverb are definitely desirable as well.
