Trevor Burton's Gear
In a live Colour Me Pop performance from late 68' or early 69', Burton is switched to Electric Bass after Ace Kefford left the band. His choice of bass would be the Fender Precision Bass, with all pickup covers on. He would use the bass until his departure from the band.
In the performance of Fire Brigade, Trevor Burton is seen with an Epiphone Hollow-Body. From my own observation, it looks like an ES-335. Burton would use this guitar for the lipsync performance, but unknown to other performances.
In the live French TV performance of Night of Fear, Trevor Burton is seen on the left playing a Fender Jazzmaster. He would use the Jazzmaster in the early performances of the Move, appearing in several promotional videos such as Night of Fear and Disturbance. He would ditch the Fender Jazzmaster until his move to the bass after Ace Kefford left.
In the picture, Trevor Burton is seen backstage with a Fender Electric XII, in sunburst. This guitar would be seen throughout The Move's catalog, seen in performances. One notable performance of the guitar on Burton's hand would be on Beat Beat Beat in 1967. Burton is seen with a Fender Electric XII throughout the performance.
Renowned guitarist Trevor Burton frequently performs with a Fender Stratocaster, notable for its reddish-orange finish reminiscent of Hank Marvin's iconic guitar. This usage is documented in a user-uploaded photo.
