Tyler Joseph's Gear
In a photo shared on Instagram, Tyler Joseph can be seen using a Clavia Nord Lead 4 Synthesizer, positioned on the right side of the image.
In a user-uploaded photo, Tyler Joseph is shown using the Xfer Serum Advanced Wavetable Synthesizer to create the main synth lead for the song "Holding On To You," specifically employing the SY Monotone synth voice.
He plays a custom blue fender Jazzmaster at 58:15 Also used in the Takeover Tour
At 1:34 you can see the the mic being used
Uses MIDI sounds from Mainstage 3. He has used mainstage early on in the band's carrer as well as some midi sounds used for his Storyteller Performance at Audacy Music.

An Ampeg SVT-VR can be seen in the background in the top left.
"Tyler Joseph’s vocal chain begins with a Shure KSM9HS handheld condenser head on a Shure Axient wireless, then into the C6, MaxxVolume, then into the dbx 160 and a de-esser before going into the console EQ." - FOH Engineer: Shane Bardiau
Find it on:
Actually it's a Prophet Rev2 instead of the 08. At 31:40 you can see it next to Tyler
You can see the A-88 in this instagram post right underneath the top of the desk.
He uses one during the new video for "Shy Away". (look at around 1:33)
At the bottom of the website they explain different sound equipment the band uses.
In the video "Twenty One Pilots - Live EBS Korea 2012 Full Concert HD," Tyler Joseph is seen using an Ampeg SVT-5 Pro, likely for his keyboard setup, as he wasn't playing bass during this performance.
Taken from Tyler's Instagram. A Schecter Hellcat VI is hung up in his home studio next to his short scale Jaguar bass used in the Blurryface era. The point has been brought up that this is incorrect because Tyler's is white and the stock image on equipboard is sunburst. If you follow this link you will see the same instrument, just in white and it's identical to Tyler's.
You can see Tyler using a blue Fender roadworn JB at 2:06.
You can see it on a stand in the background at 1:36 on the left side of the screen.
In the song “No Chances” by twenty one pilots, you can hear various presets from this synthesizer emulation. The intro bass comes from the default patch titled: “Volt-Aged Piano”, the siren-type sound comes from the preset: Deckards Drone and an arp during the intro is from a preset called: “Cycling Rotation”. Given that Tyler has been seen with another plugin (Solina V) from Arturia, along with sounds from Jup-8 V, we can infer that he has this one too. This essentially confirms that Buchla Easel V is the source of many of the sounds on “No Chances”.
During the performance featured in Ruslan Yarulin's YouTube video, Tyler Joseph of Twenty One Pilots uses the M-Audio Axiom 49 MKII Ignite Keyboard Controller while playing "Time to Say Goodbye," "Trees," and "Ode to Sleep."
Used as near field monitors in his home studio shown in the background during his interiew with Zane Lowe
You can see the Pathfinder to the right of Tyler in the video. It is the first amp he uses and he is using a Squier Jaguar bass.
1:47 the preset "Ominous Dancefloor" is used in Fall Away.
He uses this in performances of chlorine. You can see it at 0:57
Jup-8 V by Arturia makes an appearance on the song “Mulberry Street” in the second verse with a sound called “Warm and Dark”. It also appears on “No chances” with a bass sound called “Throttle Bass”. Tyler has previously been seen with another plugin from Arturia (Solina V) so it’s more than possible this is what Tyler used in “No Chances” and “Mulberry Street”.
Live video of HeavyDirtySoul in Fox Theater. Can clearly be seen from 1:02 to 1:55.
The larger of Tylers two sets of studio monitors.
it can clearly be seen behind tyler at 31:55 next to his other red bass thats next to his white bass as hes talking in his interview. it also has the sticker reading "fender" on it, identifying if possitively as a fender.
