I played Epiphone Les Paul's for a few years before getting this as my first "real" guitar. Nothing against Epiphones, they can mostly be great for the price. I've played this guitar for probably five years now and I love it. I'm not much of a sound snob, as long as it sounds good and looks good doing it. There was a period of time where I contemplated selling the guitar and getting another Les Paul after Gibson started using reissues as standards. But I couldn't bring myself to it. It gets the job done and is still my go to when I'm looking to jam.
Great guitar for the price. This is my first tele and I have not been disappointed. Light and sounds clean.
Cheap cab, but it works! 1W setting is a nice touch for me when I want to play late at home. Thanks to no copyright laws in china, they copy a lot of great components without marking up the price as much. This is a great starting tube amp. I don't play any gigs, so 15W is more than enough for me. Reverb is a little weak. Only thing I don't like is how the power cable is attached to the cab. Otherwise if this amp meets your requirements, then get it. It's great!
This overdrive pedal excels at the britpop driven sounds, but don't let it's reputation deceive you. The scran is more versatile than it's perceived. A lot of range, a lot of control, a lot of fun!
Simply a great pedal. I've been using it for almost a decade now. Don't think I will ever sell this pedal. Good price.
I would recommend this overdrive yo all beginners. The price is great, especially if you find a used one. This was my first pedal and even if I take it off my board, I will probably never sell it.
Constantly switching it around to experiment with sounds. Back of the chain, front of the overdrive. It just works great and is so easy to use.
I'm as close as I can be to loving this pedal if only it had presets. Would buy again for this feature. Overkill for a subtle reverb.
My first chorus pedal. I have had it for almost a decade and don't see myself replacing it. Unless I could find one with the same great sound, but also had presets.
Walrus Audio's Mako Series pedals are amazing. With this being the first one, they have taken notes and for further models and released a v2 of this pedal. I would recommend that one first. But this is a great pedal none the less.
Love how easy it is to upload new IR. Love the USB-C connection. Love that this pedal has an aux input, so I can play when my wife (who works nights) sleeps during the day. I can't find enough great things to say about this pedal since it checks off everything I on my need list. When I feel lazy, I just grab this pedal instead of my whole board to go jam with my cousin.
This pedal is iconic and a great utility. The only cons for me is the pedal being 18v and a bit larger than alternatives. If those don't bother you, this is a must have.
Does what it's intended to do. Just wish I had more controls to fine-tune the phaser. However I don't use it that much as it is. Would still recommend this pedal for first time users.
This is my first looper pedal I've owned. I've barrowed my cousin's loopers before (Boss RC505, Jamman Stereo Looper, Jamman Solo XT). I knew after using those that those, they all had more than what I personally needed. I chose this pedal for it's compact form and simplicity. Paying the extra $20 or so over the original ditto is well worth it just for the 99 save slots alone.
I did my research about the extended loop setting and the hiccup glitch it has before hand. It's the only reason I didn't give this pedal five stars, but I knew what I was getting into before I chose this pedal. I haven't even used the extended loop setting yet, but I know there are ways to work around the glitch. It might just limit the way you play. But I'll stick to the standard setting for now.
I really enjoy this setting.
Only tuner pedal I have ever used. Works great. No complaints. Great size and pedal board efficient.
Cloned after a Ibanez TS808. Sounds sooooo similar. I can't hear a difference, but have also never physically owned a TS808. For a hard plastic casing, it is well worth the $30.
Clone of a Boss FZ-2 Hyper Fuzz, but for $30. Hard plastic casing, but you just can't beat the price!
