Looper TC Electronic Ditto+ - Test & Review 2025

soundcrunch.net

The TC Electronic Ditto+ builds on its predecessor with a sleek design and essential features, boasting a handy color display and storage for 99 loops. While it's a breeze to use with true bypass functionality, the lack of a power adapter and a comprehensive manual detracts from its appeal, especially given its price point. If you can overlook these shortcomings, the Ditto+ is a solid choice for beginners and small performances. However, it may not satisfy those seeking more robust features or better documentation. Ultimately, the Ditto+ is a step up, but it’s not without its flaws.

TC Electronic Ditto+ review | Guitar World

guitarworld.com

The TC Electronic Ditto+ is a compact powerhouse for loopers, boasting an impressive 60 minutes of 24-bit looping time and the ability to save up to 99 sessions. Its intuitive controls make it easy to operate, while the new color LCD screen enhances usability. However, you're limited to uploading audio tracks in 44.1hz WAV format, which could frustrate those with a library of MP3s. Overall, while it excels in functionality and user-friendliness, the format restriction may dampen the experience for some users.

TC Electronic Ditto+ review | MusicRadar

musicradar.com

The TC Electronic Ditto+ is a compact powerhouse in the looper world, boasting an impressive 60 minutes of 24-bit audio and 99 memory slots. Its intuitive design makes it easy for musicians to record, overdub, and manipulate loops effortlessly. The new Extended Loop Mode is a game-changer, allowing seamless overdubs that automatically adjust the loop length. While it has a fun Pong easter egg, the Ditto+ is serious about performance. The only downside? There's nothing significant to criticize—it's a fantastic upgrade that provides incredible value for creatives on the go.

Great Pedal for Novice Looper Users

This is my first looper pedal I've owned. I've barrowed my cousin's loopers before (Boss RC505, Jamman Stereo Looper, Jamman Solo XT). I knew after using those that those, they all had more than what I personally needed. I chose this pedal for it's compact form and simplicity. Paying the extra $20 or so over the original ditto is well worth it just for the 99 save slots alone.

I did my research about the extended loop setting and the hiccup glitch it has before hand. It's the only reason I didn't give this pedal five stars, but I knew what I was getting into before I chose this pedal. I haven't even used the extended loop setting yet, but I know there are ways to work around the glitch. It might just limit the way you play. But I'll stick to the standard setting for now.

I really enjoy this setting.

Great compact looper

Great update on the original, the ability to record a longer loop over the original short loop is great as is the fact that you can import loops or samples over usb.
