Guitars 20

My local guitar shop turned me onto these Nash guitars, and they truly are addicting. The feel is incredible and they sound great. The only problem I have is getting a 52 to match the 63.
These things are really fun to play when I want to get a James Hetfield vibe going. The guitar is a good feeling explorer and plays fine, but for around $800 you can't expect the best. The EMGs will give you your metal punch. Like other Epiphones I've owned, it has trouble staying in tune. Get either a better nut or tuners if you want to play it reliably.
I bought it for the awesome Angel of Death graphic, and it looks killer hanging on the wall. For the $300 these were going for I think Dean did a nice job. I see them as a fun stage guitar, but the finished neck isn't so ideal for sweat. I do think you're paying something for the graphic, but overall a nice step-up guitar for a student.

Effects Pedals 7

It's built solid, has fuzz, and comes with freaking lightning! This really is a pro pedal for a range of bass and guitar fuzz. The bass it really shines to me, and can give your bass line an edge without destroying your bass tone. It's expensive, but this is a keeper.
