The V Moda Crossfade LP2 are built like a tank, and yet are feather-light. Superb sound quality. They are bassy without being over done, and the highs and mids shine bright like a diamond. The combination of sound quality and build quality make these, in my opinion, the best dj OR producer headphones for $200 or less. To top it all off, they are super customizable. Removable side plates, and V Moda even offers custom etched designs, 3D printed fiber, and 3D metal designs. They also sell boom mics, and extra large ear pads (which I highly recommend upgrading to).

Honestly, they are good. But now that the Sennheiser HD25's have come down in price, just get HD25s. They are better. The ATH-M50x sounds somewhat tinny compared to my HD25s, and are no comparison to my V-Moda M-100s. For under $200, just get a pair of Sennheiser HD25s.

The L1 is better than any other limiter I have used. I find that does not distort the sound of the song as much as the stock limiters in FL Studio, or in Logic Pro X.

As a singer and producer, a good microphone is a must-have. The Blue Yeti USB Mic truly delivers in the sound quality department, but so much in build. Now, given that the Yeti is almost completely made of metal, you would think the build would be fantastic. This is mostly true. However, I found that the female threads on the base of the mic to attach the mic to a mic stand, stripped. Luckily the stand that is included works fine, if you don't mind it being limited to tabletop use. I have worked out a way for me to stand and sing into the mic, so that's why I didn't deduct anymore stars. Overall a great beginner mic.

It's no surprise that Bose has knocked it out of the park again with their Soundtrue headphone. They are by far some of the most comfortable headphones I have ever used. I have gone 10+ hours wearing them and never experienced any fatigue. Being Bose, they obviously have superb sound. They are not too bass heavy, so sound is not muddied. Because they are an around-ear design, sound leakage is very minimal, and isolation is also fantastic. It should be noted that these are NOT Dj or producer headphones. I'm sure you could use them as such, but I would not advise that. These are more just for listening enjoyment. If you did want to use them in the studio, these would be great for vocal recording. Because the bass isn't too intense, vocals shine with these headphones, and combined with the minuscule sound-leakage, you wouldn't have to worry about a mic picking up any extra sound from them.
