Recording Magazine Gear Review: KRK ROKIT 5 G4 Studio Monitor

recordingmag.com

The KRK ROKIT 5 G4 delivers a stellar performance that enhances its well-regarded lineage. With improved clarity and a punchy low end thanks to its new Kevlar drivers, it stands out for its balanced sound, making it a worthy investment for both amateur and professional setups. However, the omission of RCA inputs and a shift to a digital control interface might not sit well with traditionalists. While the price remains accessible, the G4 proves that you don’t have to compromise on quality for affordability. Overall, it’s a significant upgrade that reaffirms KRK’s dominance in the studio monitor market.
