Dag Nasty is an influential American band that emerged from the vibrant Washington, D.C. punk scene in the mid-1980s. The group was founded by Brian Baker (guitar), formerly of Minor Threat and Meatmen, and Dave Smalley (vocals), previously from DYS. Dag Nasty was pivotal in shaping the melodic hardcore genre, influencing countless bands with albums like Can I Say and Field Day.
