Edirol was a sub-brand of Roland Corporation focused on desktop media production gear — USB audio interfaces, MIDI keyboard controllers, portable digital recorders, and computer-oriented mixers and monitors. The brand catered to musicians, podcasters, and video producers working on computers, sitting alongside Roland's core product lines rather than replacing them.

Edirol is perhaps best remembered for its USB audio and MIDI products. The UA-series interfaces (including the UA-25, UA-101, and the UA-100 Audio Canvas) were popular among home recordists for combining audio I/O with onboard MIDI over a single USB connection. The PCR-series MIDI keyboard controllers — such as the PCR-M1, PCR-M30, PCR-M50, and PCR-800 — offered assignable knobs, pads, and faders for controlling DAWs and soft synths. The R-09 handheld stereo recorder was also a widely used field recorder in its era.

Roland eventually retired the Edirol name and folded the product lines back into the main Roland brand, so new Edirol-branded gear is no longer produced. Used units remain common on the secondhand market through sites like Reverb and eBay.
