Boldest pick: Mooer Slow Engine
Only 3 pro artists on Equipboard own it, but it's ranked #18 in Volume Effects Pedals.

Ethereal
A really nice tool for haunting ethereal ambience, very unique and hard to replicate with other devices (this is NOT a reverb but a chain of six cascading delays). Pros: Instant ambience, really nice modulated echos with the ability of smear them as a kind of reverb, damp, self ocilate, and even pitch shift with the tweak of a knob (drag, acts like a time knob in a delay pedal). Cons: Nearly impossible to sync as a delay, very limited maximum time between repeats. It's not functional as a clean delay, and it doesn't mix smooth and compact as a reverb. Only three of the six knobs are worth (drag, lenght and mix although it can't go 100% wet). All in all, it's a great sounding reverbertator, but a one trick pony, everything sounds in the same cold and cavernous mood.

Strong candidate for Desert Island Pedal
Pros: Small enclosure, a nice plethora of the classic modulation effects, two chanels in series close enough to step in them at the same time, the unexpected quality and really usefull delays and reverbs in a mod pedal, the tap tempo and expression output.
Cons: Some of the mod effects repeat in both channels but they are placed in different positions. Parameters vary a lot from each fx (really hard to memorize), personaly I feel that some of them were unnecesary to repeat (they don't repeat "flanger" or "chorus" but they do with "harmonic tremolo"). The small distance between switches can also be a Con in a live situation, if you want, for instance, to step on the middle switch without touching the others. There are no presets, and that's ok for the price, but once unplugged and turned on, V1 does not memorize the tap tempo either so make sure to get V2.
All in all, a great sounding pedal with a lot of versatility and combinations in both channels with a substantial learning curve.
