Visual Sound V2 Series V2DT Double Trouble Dual Overdrive
Avg price: $70.13
Great Pedal
The Double Trouble is two Tube Screamers in one casing. Plenty of gain (I have one side set to treble boosting lead channel) and sidles up to a big muff nicely. Modelled after the TS-9, it was good enough to retire my TS-10 from the board.
Avg price: $81.90
Soul Food
The Soul Food is recognised as the cheapest version of Klon (can I say that word... no one seems to ever be able to do it) clone on the market. Essentially, if you were looking for an honest written description of the soul food, you will be hearing a tubescreamer levelled overdrive, not too bitey, that can clean right up that has a lot more treble to it than a TS... which are a bit muddier than this guy. The gain behind the level control makes it particularly useful as a boosting device...hmmm... a boost that has some treble to it... a treble boo... nah...
Electro-Harmonix Sovtek "Green Russian" Big Muff Pi V7C
Avg price: $340.00
Green Russian Big Muff
Series 7c Big Muff made in Russia. Thicker tone than US muffs with plenty of sustain.
TC Electronic Spark Mini Booster
Avg price: $45.44
Spark Mini Booster. Mini is size... NOT in boosting.
This little pedal ROCKS! I have used EQ pedals, light and transparent overdrives and volume pedals in the past to give me that lift when I am soloing or emphasizing a phrase. Always struggling to get that lift. Rotated off this pedal meets guitar volume.. that is parity... (EQ pedal is half way, with opportunity to decrease volume). This is a boost. At 9 o'clock it is a completely suitable soloing and phrasing volume. At 12 0'clock I was clambering to turn it back down a touch... and it still winds around to 5 o'clock. Don't let size fool you... 20db. No false claims. The best feature is the unlatched footswitch. Stomp it on for the spotlight moments, press and hold to grab a moment then as your foot leaves, so does the boost.

11 effects in 1 mini pedal???
Bought this when I was looking for a mini flanger and when this one came up locally the youtube reviews i checked out made me decide to try it. The Chorus is nice and can get quite rich. The flanger is also well rounded. The phaser is lush. There is a second phaser that stretches it all out a bit more. The trem and stutter are also quite useful. Next comes a vibrato and a uni vibe that both sound good. The touch wah and auto wah are some of the best I have used and are regularly used in solos. I am yet to tame the ring modulator, it is a bit chimey. All up the pedal can drop in volume slightly but it is still a great sounding pedal in a mini format.
Harmonizer & Octave Effects Pedals
Avg price: $63.78
Great polyphonic pitch shifter
Droptune can drop 1 up to 7 steps down from your current tuning. (E standard down to A standard), an octave below mixed with original OR a straight octave below (as a decent sounding bass emulator - unlike most octave pedals). Perfect for playing along with songs and finding a song in Eb. step on the pedal and keep playing! It can sound a little modulated in the lower registers with a clean tone, but gain masks this.
This is a fantastic writing/ inspiration tool for experimenting with tones.
Joyo PXL-Pro Programable Looper Control Station Pedal Switcher
Avg price: $137.50
Electro-Harmonix Sovtek "Green Russian" Small Stone
Avg price: $200.00
tel_nobody's rating:
Phase Tone PT-1000
First series treadle controlled phaser from 1977 - 1978. Switch on the side to choose fast or slow, with the rocker treadle used to dial in how much speed is being applied to the setting. Effect is smooth and subtle.
Hotone Soul Press Micro Volume/Expression/Wah
Avg price: $171.73
3 in 1 fun.
About a half inch longer than a Boss pedal, the Hotone (Hot Tone) Soul Press is a very handy Cry Baby voiced wah pedal. Some reviews have said the smaller treadle reduces the travelable distance in tonal range. Nope... cannot notice this difference they are talking about. Plenty of range in this little guy. Any while most players have a wah on their board and whack it on for a couple of songs here and there, one flick of the switch on the side of the Hotone and BINGO! It's a volume pedal. On the other side of the pedal is a thumbwheel, which sets the floor for the treadle in full heel position... from zero to full volume is dial able. Flick the switch again and this sexy chunk of pedal board real estate is now an expression pedal for your fave other piece of kit on your board. Can it get any better??? How about two super bright LEDS, so you know when it is engaged!!! battery or 9 volt. There are horror stories of these giving up after weeks or months. So far I think it is great. Keep ya posted!
Avg price: $152.21
One trick pony.
This does Tonebender well. However, the controls vary so little that they are almost not required. There is little hope of subtlety in this pedal. I like the sound, but ability to adjust settings seems to have been forgotten in the wiring.
Avg price: $27.40

I use my double trouble like you, but i change the order of setting, the led setting on the right is my setting on the left and vice-versa. I want to try your setting on my double trouble, thanks, man!
