Critic Reviews

AAS Chromaphone

soundonsound.com

The AAS Chromaphone is a versatile virtual percussion synthesizer that excels in creating original, customizable sounds. It offers a wide array of percussion and string instrument timbres with a smooth and responsive interface. The software's standout feature is its ability to generate unique, non-sample-based sounds, making it a boon for musicians seeking fresh auditory palettes. While it lacks an on-screen keyboard and pitch-bend function, these are minor setbacks compared to its creative potential. Ideal for those looking to expand their sonic horizons with ease and affordability.

Physical Modeling

Even though programming this synth could seem like a bit confusing (especially if you're like me and know subtractive synthesis better) The default presets are AMAZING out of the box and once you learn how this synth works, it gets better and better.

what kidna synth is it?

trivorak

It's a physical modeling synth where you program the mallet/attack, and resonators/body. Very good for strings and mallets.
